I have a Lenovo FOAU B50-30. Using a Netgear37 Router I am

Resolved Question:

I have a Lenovo FOAU B50-30. Using a Netgear37 Router I am getting speeds of 2.73 download and 0.34 uplpad when I check the speed using my ancient Dell laptop. Placing my Dell in front of my Lenovo on the same desk I get the same speeds. However, when I test the speeds of my Lenovo using the same program I only get 0.81 download and 0.32 upload which is frequently too slow to make a connection.
Have you any ideas what can be causing this difference and any ideas to rectify it.

To clarify, its the Lenovo giving you the slow speeds correct? And is it via wireless or a cable?

I have my Lenovo desk PC at a distance from a wireless router. If I place my Dell on the same desk as the Lenovo I get the same speeds as if I plug it directly into the distant router with a cable. On the desk with the Lenovo it is by wireless

you just said windows 10, but your talking about 2 computers and your not telling which one you have windows 10 on.

Windows 10 on the Lenovo Windows Vista on the Dell and also a Chrome Book which recieves good speeds

ok, this is expects as your going to get some fluctuation.
If you run it a few times on the Lenovo, do you ever get the lower speeds you were getting with the other test?

ok, strange it was ok at first, then just dropped.
Can you run both Dell and Lenovo at the same time 3 times as I want to see if something on your network is taking up bandwidth.

Test 2 Lenovo Ping 31 Down 2.07 Up 0.33 Dell Ping 47 Down 0.61 Up 0.35
Test 3 Lenovo Ping 32 Down 1.47 Up 0.37 Dell Ping 43 Down 2.82 Up 0.33These two machines are never used together.

ok, the problem you had was interference, someone in your area was using the same wireless channel and this is why you had the issue.
As you see the speeds are now consistent
Leave it on this channel and you will be ok
