I have lost my large IKON for Norton 360 on my Desktop and the smaller one at the bottom which I use as a back-up doesn't work.

What is the error you get when you try the smaller backup icon?
And when did this all stop working?
I can see you are a first time user to the site. What we do here is either a question and answer type of conversation or remote support where I would actually connect to the computer and have a look and attempt to fix the problem for you.
Remote support can save a lot of time if you are not comfortable performing repairs yourself. Sometimes even with instructions you can make a mistake and make things worse.

Richard and I discussed my problem but when he revealed how much it was going top cost
I regarded it as too expensive and closed the discussion.
Richard did not even attempt to solve the problem so why was I charged £42.00?
