I have a hannspree tablet 10.1. it has gone very slow. i have uninstalled any downloads i dont use but this has made no difference. can you help

Hi there and welcome

Can you please hold the power button until you see a menu and choose Power off.

Once it is completely off, power it on and tell me how it now performs please.

ok, can you go to settings, applications.

Swipe to the list all and locate Google Services Framework

Press it and press Clear Data.

Once done, tell me how it now operates please.

It is listed when you go to Settings, so swipe from the top down and press on the Gear Wheel to see settings.

Then you go to it there.

Ok done that still very slow to respond

ok, we will need to do a reset of the Tablet. This will remove all data and return it to new, but this cannot be avoided so backup any personal photos ect you wish to keep.

Then go to settings, backup & Reset, Factory Data Reset.

Complete this process and once done, set it up again and tell me how it is now functioning please.

ok that has all cleared. can you tell me if the skype app is too heavy for this model

No it should be ok. Its the games, especially with a lot of graphics that can cause the issue.

But this was likely just an issue with the firmware which is now cleared.
