As I'm having problems with internet access via our broadband router, I've got the choice of setting up a hotspot using an iPhone or iPad. Although it works on the iPad, it's extremely slow.
I'd prefer to use the iPhone, as we have unlimited data with its provider, but although my laptop can 'see' the iphone, when I try to login, it seems to skip the step which allows me to use the password (generated by the iPhone), and just reports an unsuccessful login.
Is there any way of logging in to the iPhone hotspot which allows me to supply the password?

Click start, then type in

wireless networks

press enter

Right click on the network for the iPhone and select Remove.

Then try to connect to the network like normal.

Does it then work?

It certainly now shows the password ***** but having logged in the error message is Limited Access.
