Can you remove the power to the TalkTalk router, then wait 5 minutes, connect the power again and try to connect the iPad again and tell me what happens please

yes, as you need to actually connect to the wifi please

So

go to settings, wifi and then press on your wifi network

It come up with a list of neworks (including the right one) and this time asked for the password, which I very carefully entered. It still shows WIFI not connected.
I have successfully connected a Tablet

From the card which came with the router. It worked on the tablet.

ok, look on the back of the router, you see the reset hole and button?

ok, use a paperclip and push and hold the reset button in for 10 seconds then release.

Then wait 5 minutes, try to connect the iPad to wifi and tell me what then happens please

ok, we will need to reset the iPad

This will remove all data from it and return it to new, but this we cannot avoid, as it is necessary to so.

To do this, go to settings, general, reset, erase all content and reset settings.

Once done, setup the iPad again like when you first received it and tell me if it now connects please.

Click on Download in the middle of the page

Download and install the program and give me the ID and Password ***** please so I can connect

Do not close the program but leave it open else I will not be able to connect
