If they are not in the deleted folder, please follow the steps below.
In Hotmail, they have a feature to recover deleted emails.
Please go to the inbox.
On the left, please click Deleted Items
When you are in Deleted Items, please look at the top of the list.
Please click on the link that says, "Recover Deleted Items"
This should recover as many deleted emails from the server as it can.
Please let me know if the emails that have been deleted are recovered.

Once you change the password, the account should be secure again.
