My Samsung Story station keeps coming up with error warning

My Samsung Story station keeps coming up with error warning saying Caution contents of the backup device was changed adnormally. Start error correction anyway. I have and it keeps returning. Can you help please???

ok, this is a sign that the drive is starting to fail (sectors failing)

Can you download the seagate tool to test it please

It will indicate if there are failing sectors in which event you would need to have the drive replaced asap to avoid data loss.

ok but if you tell me what issue you had running the tool I can see what the cause is. I really advise we get to the bottom of this as a lot of times this refers to failures on the disk and I would now want you losing your data.

The seagate tool is now working. the drive has passed the basic test and the smart test I am just running the gen***** ***** test.
