Are you still able to access the contents on the disk?
ok, this is a sign that the drive is starting to fail (sectors failing)
Can you download the seagate tool to test it please
It will indicate if there are failing sectors in which event you would need to have the drive replaced asap to avoid data loss.

ok but if you tell me what issue you had running the tool I can see what the cause is. I really advise we get to the bottom of this as a lot of times this refers to failures on the disk and I would now want you losing your data.
