I use Gmail, and the Chrome browser on several Win7

Resolved Question:

I use Gmail, and the Chrome browser on several Win7 computers.
I would like to synchronise my Chrome bookmark tabs from my current computer to my new one.
The new laptop appears to have picked up my Chrome bookmark tabs automatically, but it's an old version of my bookmark tabs.
How do I synchronise the tabs to the new computer?
Thank you.

Hi there and welcome

The synchronizations occur when you sign into Google and will synch with the bookmarks on your account.

Do you still have access to the computer with the latest bookmarks on it?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.

Yes, I do, Richard

Expert:  Richard replied 11 months ago.

ok, go to that computer, open Chrome and click on the three dots, then settings.

Do you see the account it shows you signed in as?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.

It wasn't signed in, but now it is.

Expert:  Richard replied 11 months ago.

ok, this is why you did not get them, so sign in, it will update the bookmarks and on all other comptuers signed in, they should get them now.

Try to restart if you do not see them at first.

OK, but which is considered the 'master' computer?

Expert:  Richard replied 11 months ago.

None, it should merge them altogether and can at times result in duplicates which you need to clean up (that you cannot avoid)
