Are you getting this message on the printer Peter? Or the computer?

Can you please remove the power to the printer (so unplug it from the power socket).

Then wait 10 minutes, connect the power again to the printer, turn it on and tell me please if it is now operating correctly.

have followed instructions in the help box ie main lead, checked Wi-Fi link
as I set to scan it shows scan to computer then my computer,then download application list, then it says it
cannot retrieve

Press the windows key + R and type in

mspaint.exe

press enter

Click File, From Scanner and tell me if you can scan this way please.

Remove the power to the wireless router, the printer and power off your computer.

Wait 10 minutes

Connect the power to your wireless router and wait 5 minutes

Connect the power to the printer, then power on the computer and tell me if it now works please.

ok, please click start, type in

devices and click on devices and printers

Then right click on the printer and select remove

Restart the computer

Go back, click add printer, click on it when it appears in the list.

Once installed, then try to scan please
