My computer (windows 10) has developed an unfixable problem

Customer Question

My computer (windows 10) has developed an unfixable problem on startup.
The "Automatic Repair" screen comes up saying "Your PC did not start correctly".
It suggests restarting or offers advanced options.....Continue, Troubleshoot or Turn off PC.
However...Neither restart or any of the other options work.
It won`t Reset or System Restore (it can`t find a restore point) It suggests opening System Protection, but the a screen tells me its only available in online operating system.
Whatever I`ve tried, it just takes me round and round in a circle again.
Can you please help?
Thanks in anticipation.
Ian.

Hi. My name is***** you for your question and the opportunity to assist.

What happens if you select Troubleshoot>>Reset this PC>>Remove everything>>Fully clean the drive ?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Hi Byron! Thanks for getting back to me.
When I press the reset option, it briefly flashes "getting ready..."
then says "There was a problem resetting your PC. No changes were made." and then I'm back to square 1.

Thanks. Can you tell me the brand and model number of your computer?

Go here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

You'll need a 4+GB flash drive to create a Windows 10 install flash drive.

Download the Tool and run it. Create media for another PC and specify the USB option.

Once the flash drive has been prepared boot your computer from it.

On the Install page, in the lower left select the Repair option and run Startup Repair.

Thanks.
I'll give it a try.

This is the way to go if none of the built in repair options are working.

Let me know the result please.

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Certainly!
Many thanks.

Hi. Any success getting Windows repaired?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Hi Byron!
Sorry I haven`t got back to you sooner, but I`ve been out of town.
I tried your fix, but the computer said that the flash didn`t have the required info. Since then, I tried a number of fixes
from youtube, step by step, but nothing has worked. I have finally taken the beast into a local repairer and am awaiting
their reply.
I do appreciate your efforts, but it seems this is a very common problem and usually requires a complete re-install of the
system..
Thanks again.
Ian.
