Ask a Computer Question, Get an Answer ASAP!
I am very sorry to hear about your problem. I have worked with wet phones scores of times. The best thing to do is to follow my instructions below.
- If possible, turn the iPhone off.
- Immediately, put the phone into a sealed bag of rice.
- Every 12 hours or so, take the phone out of the bag, shake the bag of rice a little bit, put the phone back in, and seal the bag.
- After a full 48 hours, you can take the phone out of the bag of rice.
If you do this quickly enough, you should not have any problems.
