Resolved Question:

The recording facility is not working on my Panasonic TV. I get the message "There is a technical fault. Please try later"
As I am covered by insurance should I just wait a few days for it to be corrected?

Thanks for the info - Have you tried to unplug TV and Sky box power cords from wall outlet for 10 minutes to reset, replug back in, let cable box reboot that may take several minutes and check?If not yet, can you try it now and reply back with the result?
