I am a 66 yr old female who started with pityorsis rosea 2 weeks before Xmas still have it in large bright red patches, all over my body, now in very dry patches, Help me I am desperate.

whle Pityriasis Rosea can last 6 months, this is unusual. it might be worthwhile re-appraising the diagnosis since thismight be something else.

Let me ask some questions: Do you have any medication problems? Are you on any medications? Did you have the typical Herald Patch of PR: a patch that looked like ringworm, 7-14 days before the other ones came out? Are you getting these patches below the knees and elbows?
