Hello my name is Freddy. I look forward to assisting and am very sorry to hear that you are having this problem.
What version of windows or mac is on the computer?
.
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

computer is Lenovo

Windows 8 or maybe 8.1

Expert:  Freddy M. replied 3 years ago.
.
To check move the mouse to the lower right corner.
Then click on settings, and next click on pc info.
The window that opens will say which you have.

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Windows 8

Thanks Freddy

Windows 8

Expert:  Freddy M. replied 3 years ago.

This camera should be compatible with windows 8 without installing anything but would come up as a drive. Move your mouse to the bottom right corner again and click on search. Then type in "This PC" without the quotes. When you see it in the list click on it. In the window that opens what do you see for drives?
.
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Freddy I did as you said and there were many things none of which lookeed like any use concerning photos or camera

Expert:  Freddy M. replied 3 years ago.

Make sure you are typing this pc or you could type computer and not pc info as that will bring something else up.

Hi, thank you for contacting JustAnswer.com. My name is Russell. I will do my best to provide the right answer to your question.

(Freddy is indeed a great guy and an accomplished Expert, IMHO.)

I think you need to plug the camera to the computer - if you're willing to try further measures - and then go to Control Panel, and to Scanners and Camera Wizard (which might be found under Devices and Printers, or you might need to enter it in the search field of Control Panel to find it.) That might help. Let me know if that seems feasible - or, if you really want to quit trying.

(Note: neither Expert Freddy nor I myself, have any power over payment, or 'cahsing your card money'. That, if it is a concern with you, can be settled by contacting Customer Support at JustAnswer.com - http://ww2.justanswer.com/help )

Thanks.
