I have recently bought a windows 8 lap top. My last computer ran windows XP and when I bought a Canon EOS 450D DSLR I downloaded the Zoombrowser software included with the package. I had all data and software downloaded to the new lap top, but the zoombrowser software would not transfer. I need compatible zoombrowser software for the camera and windows 8. What do I need to do? I'm sorry about the issue. I've checked the download page on the Canon website for your camera model. There is no ZoomBrowser software for Windows 8. However, there is ImageBrowser software for Windows 8, which should work similar. Please click on the website below:

If ImageBrowser does not work for you; please see / try the following:

- I've also just checked at another Canon website; it does not have Zoombrowser for Windows 8, but it does have it for Windows 7, and installing the windows 7 zoombrowser may actually work on windows 8; it does not hurt to try if you need. Please click on the website below:

, then at that website, next to Operating system, select Windows 7 from the drop-down list
, then click on Software below it
