Steve G. :

Are you there?

Steve G. :

Are you trying to move your photos from the camera to the PC?

JACUSTOMER-fyy24hmp- :

Steve G. :

Ok, while we figure that out, does your computer or laptop have an SD Card slot?

JACUSTOMER-fyy24hmp- :

Steve G. :

Ok, so we are stuck with having to transfer them by USB then.

Steve G. :

Has anything changed on your computer? Is it the same one that you used before?

JACUSTOMER-fyy24hmp- :

I've used it before ..i guess its the usual updated Windows stuff

Steve G. :

And I assume that you have rebooted a couple of times?

JACUSTOMER-fyy24hmp- :

yes ..about 5 times

Steve G. :

Ok. Let me look at something...hold on....

Steve G. :

Ok, Go to this page: http://www.canon-europe.com/Support/Consumer_Products/products/cameras/Digital_SLR/EOS_1000D.aspx and download and install No. 9 in that list. This will update the driver and hopefully get you back in business.

Steve G. :

This will take time so I will convert his chat to a Q&A format which has not timer. Sound good?

Steve G. :

Just reply when you have tried the driver.
