I have a Canon pixma MX 375 no LJTA04537. I have fitted new ink cartridges but it still says that the colour innk is low, and the machine will not run properly. Does it need servicing? ....Aidan Ridge

While the printer is on, hold the Stop Resume button for 10 seconds then release.

No. the message 'colour ink is running low is still flashing on & off.

ok, this is the problem you can have when having a cartridge refilled.
They have damaged it and it is now not reporting the correct level of ink.
You will need to go back Aidan and have them replace the cartridge.
Then put this replacement cartridge in and it will correctly report the ink level.
Canon never advise on refilling cartridges as this can occur. It can work, but at times it will result in a damaged cartridge and you have this problem.

thanks for your help , I thought that it might be something to do with the cartridge. I will contact Cartridge people and ask for a new one. bye, Aidan
