Resolved Question:

oh help
I am having an error message when I try to take a pic... need my camera to work today too!
it says ...
err 01
"Communications between the camera and lens is faulty. Clean the lens contacts."
Do I have to take it to a camera clinic to do that??? Please say I can do it myself - it's just the time elment here. To my shame I did change lenses on the beach a few times earlier this week :-(

Thanks Ricjie,

Panicked when I got the message.

Been photographing the beach for about 8 years - it's on my doorstep - first time this has happened to me - lucky I guess?

I'll clean up more regularly and panic less in future. Cheers

Jac
