Dear Friends, I'm having problems connecting

Dear Friends, I'm having problems connecting my Asus T100 TA notebook to my Canon Pixma IP5300 photo printer, s/n. AAKM 00491. using USB cable. I've attempted to download drivers from Canon Download Centre, and the PC running Windows 8 /8.1 does indeed show the printer as being installed in devices screen, but it shows the status as "Driver Unavailable". and obviously will not print, the cable connection seems live as the PC beeps when its connected, and confirms the printer in devices screen. Any help/advice and guidance would be much appreciated. Thank you, ***** *****

Dear Viet, thank you for kind reply, there were no error messages displayed during downloads, I need to correct this system fault somehow as this printer is high resolution photo printer showing superb quality results when in operation. It has previously worked fine on a PB laptop with Windows 8 -8.1 duly installed & connected with USB cable.

I have no problem with attempts to solve the issue by remote, but I would need to clarify before any further action is taken, ie, will any further costs /charges be applied in attempts to correct the fault ??

and secondly, if your attempts to correct the issue are unsuccessful would a refund of payment already made be refunded.

Please kindly advise exactly what we need to do next.

Unsure if page is correct, its asking, log in, quick download to start a meeting, and join meeting with box asking enter code ??

Press at the same time the two keys Ctrl and J on your keyboard in order to see the Downloads window
