Thank you for your question, my name is ***** ***** I look forward to assisting you.
Please note, a rating is only needed when we are finished.
If you set it so the flash will always go on, does the flash still then work?
Is it only the automatic detection that's not working?
Please let me know.

If I put the flash up manually it still does not work
thanks
Remove the battery please and then hold the shutter button down for 30 seconds then release.
Then put the battery back in, turn it on and tell me if it now functions correctly please.

No nothing .There is no flash sign in the viewfinder

It is the flash or internal mainboard that has faulted. Usually the flash
I am really sorry about this and you are going to have to return the camera to have a diagnostics run and the component replaced. It will be covered by the warranty if this has not expired, and the replacement will be done at no cost to you.
I am really sorry about this, and if you have problems, or would like any additional information or assistance, please do not hesitate to let me know.
And if you can take a second to rate my service, that would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
