Canon MP280, test chart fine but blacks are printing blue on photos. Why would that be?

I have just replaced both black and white and colour carttridges with Canon inks 510 and 511

Can you follow the instructions on my link below to perform a clean of the printer

Sorted! I had left the plastic on the black ink and so of course it wasnlt coming through!

Ah, yes that would also cause it!
Always remember to remove all the packaging and be careful as you can damage the printhead if the plastic is not removed.
