My Canon Pixma MG5350 printer (serial number not found) has a message to contact the service centre. Can you help please?

no, and my contact was with the printer service centre, not camera

Yes I know as specified by your model number.

Follow these steps:

  • Unplug the power cable.
  • Open the printer's panel
  • Push the whole print head mechanic to the center
  • While the printer's panel still open, plug the power and turn it ON.
  • Wait for print carriage to start moving to the left.
  • Let it go past half way
  • Before print carriage reaches left hand side shut the cover.

Now check the error status.

Did that, it went through processing and then same message came up, to contact service centre

Take out all the cartridges. Turn off the printer and then turn it back on and put the cartridges back. Check for any spilled ink in the print head.

Turn the printer off and Push the whole print head mechanism to the center.

  1. Turn off the printer.
  2. Press and hold the Resume button (triangle inside a circle).
  3. Whilst it is held down, hold down the Power button. The green led light should come on.
  4. Keep the Power button held down. Release the Resume button and then press it twice. The light should go amber, then green again.
  5. Release the Power button.
  6. Press the Resume button four times and then press the Power button straight after to confirm the selected action
  7. Turn off the printer and then turn it on again

There is some problem with the print head in your printer. Error B200 means the printhead voltage or temperature is not normal. The Printhead could be defective or there is ink spilled on the print head which is causing this problem.

This issue cannot be resolved now with Remote Assistance. The problem is hardware and issue is with the print head

When it is in center, open the grey level upwards and remove all the inks
