Hi, thank you for contacting JustAnswer.com. My name is Russell. I will do my best to provide the right answer to your question.ru
By 'screen displays on playback', do you mean menu or status indicator things, that are in the periphery of the picture/image/video on playback?
If so, which ones? I have to ask, in case they are somehow specific ones requiring specific disablements.
OK, thanks for the response and the information. I am looking up how to eliminate those from the display (if that is possible.)
For what it's worth, this works on a Canon Vixia:
Output Onscreen Displays
(and turn that to OFF instead of ON.)
It's that simple, on a Vixia anyway. See if that guides you to the right setting, while I look for Legria-specific information.
(Let me know *if* it works, please.)
Here are some specifics for your Legria model line:
- the DISP/BATT INFO button, when pressed (over and over again a certain number of times) can turn those onscreen info display items off (or on) in sequence. So press, look at the display, press again, until what you don't want on the display is gone.
There's also specific settings... I'm looking those up too. If this is enough answer, though, please rate my answer. Five-stars would be appreciated!
Try the DISP/BATT INFO button, repeatedly.
There's this specific:
In the Display Options (among your Legria's settings) there is the
option, which when Off, turns off those indicators when playback is displayed on external monitor or TV.
Again, if this answers your question, please rate my answer - highly! Thanks.
Good to hear that my advice worked as it should.
Thank you for five stars... I appreciate that.
As for processing the payment... I have no power and don't really know (Customer Support at JustAnswer.com knows about and deals with these things, you can get in touch with them through means incl. phone # here: http://ww2.justanswer.com/contact-us ), but I may very approximately indicate that it is probably taken care of - thanks again.
