Ibuprofen can have a serious effect on your dogs kidney's and liver. It can also cause gastric ulceration. It is very dangerous for dogs.

If you want to try pain relief for your dog, the simplest medication you can use at home is acetaminophen (Tylenol/panadol). Dose rate is 10mg/kg bodyweight or 5mg/lb body weight twice daily.

Do not give more than 2 doses 12 hours apart before seeing your vet.
