Hello, I'm Dr Ralston, thanks for your question.

Can you give me a better estimate of weight for Frodo?

Also, how big of a container is this?

Thanks,
DrR

40grame tube of milk chocolate smarties. Nestlé brand. Frodo weight about 8- 9kg I think. Scales not working

Ok give me just one minute, I have a chart right here, I just want to do the math....

Expert:  DrRalston replied 3 years ago.
Ok.

GOOD news! You are definitely in the clear Pearl.

For Frodo the toxic dose for milk chocolate would start at around 3 times the amount that he ate in the 40 grame tube.

So, you might still see some diarrhea and possible vomiting, but he should sleep it off and feel better tomorrow.

No need for a visit to the Vet. Frodo will be fine.

For in the future, signs of toxicosis would include:

Signs of toxicosis would include any of the following:

Hyper excitability
Hyper irritability
Increased heart rate
Restlessness
Increased urination
Muscle tremors

Vomiting and diarrhea may occur, but are very rare at this dosage.
