Hello, my name is Dr. Kara and I have over 20 years of experience as a veterinarian. I am sorry to hear that Stormy is having trouble with one of his rear leg "ankle" joints.

English Bulldogs are noted for having hip dysplasia and problems with their elbow joints in their front legs, including united growth plates(especially the anconeal process) and elbow luxations which can lead to secondary arthritis in those joints. They are not noted for commonly having any other orthopedic problems.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.
