I am sorry you are concerned about Mitzi/
My name is***** am a veterinarian, and will do my best to help.
Has Mitzi been in heat yet? Or is she spayed?
If she is not spayed, and was in heat a month or two ago, it is not unusual for her to have milk in her glands, even though she is not pregnant.
When a female dog goes into heat, she has hormone levels go up and down, whether she got pregnant, or not. So it is not unusual for a dog, about 9 weeks after finishing her heat, to have milk and even gain weight and even treat toys or socks like her puppies, for a week or so.
If she is spayed, then this might be more of a concern.
I hope you can see what I am writing!
I am not seeing responses from you.
I will try to connect with you another way, if I do not hear from you.
If this is from her being in heat a month or two ago, it needs no treatment. It will go away in a week or so.
Can you see what I am saying?
The website says you are there, but I don't see anything from you.
If she is acting normal, eating well, and seems otherwise healthy, this will probably be gone soon.
I guess I will try the other format, and hope you can see what I am saying then.
