, welcome to JustAnswer! I am a Veterinarian and will help you right away!

Calpol, also known as paracetamol is also known as acetominophen or tylenol.

There is a dosage . It is 5-10 mg / pound so about 100 mg to 200mg would an ok dose.

Your dog received 250 mg which is just a little higher than normal, but definitely not in the toxic range yet.

Should be fine.
