I see that a number of medications have been prescribed but no definitive diagnosis has been given to you. I'm sorry to hear of this.

Isantal - I don't find this in my formulary. Do you know which drug(s) were in this product?

Maxitrol - contains the steroid dexamethasone and the antibiotics neomycin and polymyxin B - it would helpful for both an allergic and infectious conjunctivitis or other steroid-responsive eye disorders

Optimmune - contains cyclosporin which usually is prescribed to address keratoconjunctivitis sicca ("dry eye") but also eye disorders responsive to an immunosuppressive drug

Muffin's eye disorder has gone on too long without a diagnosis. Please consider having Muffin referred to a specialist veterinary ophthalmologist whom can be found here: rvc.ac.uk/small-animal-referrals/ophthalmology

Please respond with further questions or concerns if you wish.
