I tend to go for very hard balls which are virtually indestructable, but he still tries to bite and kill them. there are also squeezy toys which he beheads and dismembers within half an hour so I don't buy them any more.
He gets plenty of exercise, each day Mon-Fri he goes out with his 'gang' the lady who takes him is training to be a dog behaviourist and she is insured to take 6 dogs, one of which is mine, they go from 9am to often after 12 noon. At weekends my daughter often takes him as I have balance problems and find it difficult, that is why I get Helen (the Mon-Fri girl) to help out. He is quite high energy but after his morning exercise he often will sleep all afternoon and into the evening after his evening meal then all night. I am trying new toys which are designed to give him some mental stimulation, i.e. hiding some food in toys which he has to find. He's too good at that!! He didn't start out as mine, the previous owners had taught him to 'go away' when they are eating and he obeys, he can do 'paw' when offered food and a roly-poly when he wants his tummy tickled. He has a lovely gentle nature, I just wish he wouldn't dismember all his 'babies'...
