I recently purchased a Toshiba laptop with Windows 8. I have a kindle
and with previous computer had no trouble with book loading from Amazon.
However, I have tried to load books onto my kindle, I get a message on
my computer saying that book has been transferred, but when I look on my kindle there are no new books on. Can you help

Now..are you transferring books form the computer to the Kindle using the USB cable?

If so, is there a reason that teh Kindle is not connected to WiFi? Do you have a WiFi connection?

Thank you for your prompt attention. I must apologise for bothering you


but I am happy to say that my computer and kindle are working now - I think it had to do with a password on my router. For some reason


I was asked for the password from the router, and when I found it


I keyed it in and suddenly my kindle was full of books that had been


instantly transferred. I am sorry to waste your time, and hope that I


can get a portion of the £21 back - please take out what you think


is a fair price for your time.
