Hi - just acquired my Kindle. Got help from BT ( my provider ) to get me plumbed in. OK at first, but yesterday had password XXXXX In short, I can now only get/receive my e-ms through bt/yahoo account ( very boring as have to sign in every time ) and when I go to the @symbol, I can neither receive nor send and a yellow bar comes and goes saying 'authentication failed (btinternet)'. Hope you can sort me. Am not very techy.

 

am not happy about this. I have no wish to sign up for any monthly payments as I never have problems otherwise. I am surprised that I should have to pay to get myself started on a new gadget. Please cancel my B/card details

Hello. Thank you for your question. I can help you with that. My goal is to provide excellent customer service.

You need to get the email setup parameters from your internet service provider and input them to your Kindle. Here are the parameters:

Inbound Mail Server (POP3):
Incoming Port:
SSL: Yes or No

Outbound Mail Server (SMTP):
Outgoing Port:
SSL: Yes or No

Email address: (Do not send online)
Password: (Do not send online)

When you get these parameters, we can set up your email account on your Kindle device together.
