If needed, please go menu/settings/device, etc. on the kindle, and deregister it (deregister the current email address on your son put on it), then register/sign in with your own Amazon account/email address and Amazon account password.Note: if you cannot find the de-registration option on the kindle, please let me know the exact model of your kindle.Please let me know if there is still any issue. Went through de-registering process. However, still reading "Hello
elizebeth" instead of "Hello Elizabeth" on welcome page. Model number I
think is 501/1317. Anymore suggestions?

So the correct name is ***** ***** at the Amazon website http://www.amazon.co.uk/manageyourkindle, but it still does not show correctly on the kindle. Please do this:- Press & hold the power on/off button for about 30 seconds, then turn it back on and check.- If that does not work, please go menu/settings/device, etc. on the kindle, and reset it to factory defaults, then it will let you re-set up the kindle fresh.Please let me know.
