I'm sorry about the issue. Have you tried this: If you have any cover on the kindle, please remove it for now. Then press & hold the power on/off button on the kindle for about 45 seconds, then turn it back on and check. Is there any power / light? Is there anything on the screen now?

That's very long; unfortunately, it is a hardware issue; so the kindle needs to be replaced. Usually, Amazon can give you a discount with a new kindle:
