I have a Yamaha Clavinova 409. For some reason it has reset

Customer Question

I have a Yamaha Clavinova 409. For some reason it has reset itself and I have lost many songs I wrote. Is there a way of getting those songs back?

Hi Peter,

Unfortunately the only way to recover the missing songs is from a backup, if you had one available.

Thanks Pete. No back up. That's the problem. Loads of songs gone over 4 years. It just reset for no reason. I assume the data is still there somewhere.
Expert:  Pete replied 3 months ago.

If the machine has been reset then the data will have been erased.

The only possibility is forensic recovery, which is very expensive (£5000 or more)

Almost worth it to be honest. Thanks Peter

If you do want to proceed with the recovery then you can get a quote from some of the specialists:
