Hello,

Welcome to JustAnswer!

I am Pete, and I'll be happy to answer your question.

To transfer pictures from the ZX1 to a Windows 7 computer, connect the camera to the computer using the supplied USB cable.
You can then click on 'Computer' and the ZX1 should be visible as a removable storage device.
Open it to view your photos in the folder, and you can copy and paste as many photos as you wish to the computer.

I have done as you said ,but my zx1 does not show up as a removable device.

Does the computer 'ping' when it is connected?
Do you have another computer you can try?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

My computer makes no noise when I plug in the USB as it does with an external hard drive I have. The cable is brand new so unless I have been sold a faulty one I don't know the answer. Unfortunately I do not have another computer to try it on

Expert:  Pete replied 4 years ago.
Hi Jim,
If there is no ping then the computer has not detected the camera.
If the cable is new and good, then the fault may be with the USB connection on the camera itself.
The only way to confirm this is by connecting it to another computer to rule out any computer error.
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

Thank you I will go to the computer shop and see if they can tell me what the fault is .This will take some time- so I will be in touch when I have their answer.

Hi Jim,
That's ok, just reply again when you are ready.
