Could the divert be something that your telephone provider had turned on?If you would like to restore the phone to default settings the procedure is as follows
6.5 Restore default settingsYou can restore your D4A to its default (original) settings.All the handsets that are registered to the base will be retained. WARNINGResetting your phone to its default settings will delete all entries in the Phonebook and Calls list. All handset and base settings will also be reset.1. Press m, scroll d to SETUP and press m.2. Scroll d to DEFAULT and press m.3. Enter the 4 digit PIN code (default = 0000) and press m. The display shows CONFIRM ?.4. Press m to confirm or n to return to the previous menu. Your D4A will restart automatically.Please let me know if this helps
