Cannot connect to internet and will not let me reset. I do not know what else to try.

This could be a software glitch that is preventing the set up. The factory reset is a function which resets all values and settings . Please follow these steps<>

 

  1. Turn-on TV.
  2. Point Samsung TV remote at the samsung logo.
  3. Hold the Exit Button for 15 seconds while pointing the remote at the Samsung logo.
  4. Select "Yes" at the diaglog asking if you would like to reset the TV.
  5. The TV will shut off.
  6. Turn the TV on. Complete the plug n play when it appears, make sure to select "Home use".
  7. Attempt to connect to network again using network set-up.

It does not work as it goes straight to HDMI1 channel despite disconnecting everything.

okay, sorry about that.
Please try this, disconnect the power cord, then wait about one minute, then reconnect the power cord. Then try this again>
  1. urn-on TV.

  5. The TV will shut off.
