Hello, my name isXXXXX be happy to assist you.
Please allow me to ask you a few questions to diagnose the problem.

- Can you please get the model number written on back or side of TV?
- What video devices are connected to TV and does it happen while watching any video source?
- Does screen come back itself or TV shuts Off when screen fades?
- Any further info related to this TV that you want to share?

Thanks.

As it fades , people start to ghost (not just faces). It is as if they overlay backgroud

Thanks for the info Jon,

Key info is "samsung lcd tv which the screen fades after 10 minutes" that means TV shows normal picture before it fades.

I would first check power supply board for leaky/ bulged/ top puffed capacitors to replace them with same rating, it requires soldering work with proper tools, that would help to get constant and stable voltage supply to other circuit boards in TV to keep getting normal picture as TV displays correct picture in first 10 minutes then problem starts which seems due to bad capacitors in power supply board.

So please either replace bad capacitors in power supply board or replace entire power supply board in TV that would resolve the issue. If you are uncomfortable working inside TV then local TV tech will do this work for you.

I trust my input will help you out. Please feel free to respond if you have any additional questions.
A positive rating to answer would be greatly appreciated!
Regards,

Shahid.
