Downloading ... do not turn off target. The device is locked. What should I do

This is an indication that the phone is in download mode and expecting a firmware update - this may have been accidentally caused by pressing the power button and volume button at the same time. As it's a new phone I would contact your supplier, explain what's happened and ask them what to do as you don't want to get into a situation where they say the warranty has been invalidated.
