Hi there,
your new broadband may not be up to speed yet -
go to www.speedtest.net and check what your current speed is.
It may take a few days to 'bed in' before you get the best speed for iPlayer.

I have been with BT since 5 Dec - speed this morning is 14 Mbps has been good for week now. iPlayer works fine on other TV as I said but still not working on Sony TV - cannot seem to navigate around iPlayer once accessed just locks up. 5 Demand and YouTube both work on same TV - suspect something to do with iPlayer software? Can I update or reinstall this?

Hi Mark,
The problem is most likely related to BT Broadband, especially if you are now with BT Infinity.
A lot of people have reported similar issues with iPlayer on Smart TVs after changing to BT, where they had perfectly good viewing on the same TV on much slower connections before changing to BT. It appears not to be either an Infinity or a TV issue, but an issue with compatibility between the two, and BT are unable to resolve it.
