JACUSTOMER-xkfuj51n- :

Hi New to this , obviously you have seen the question, but is it possible to retune ?

KevinWhiteJA :

Once you see the auto tune just press Vol + button to start the auto tune

JACUSTOMER-xkfuj51n- :

Can see the auto tune in menu but how do you navigate down menu to auto tune ?

JACUSTOMER-xkfuj51n- :

There is a symbol like a 'return' symbol on screen which i presume has to be switched to activate autotune , but which button ,Vol+ , ?

KevinWhiteJA :

This model seems old

KevinWhiteJA :

what all buttons are there on the TV ?

JACUSTOMER-xkfuj51n- :

No more than three years old

JACUSTOMER-xkfuj51n- :

ok on the top of the screen from right to left : on/off , source , menu , Ch+ , Ch - , Vol+ , Vol-

KevinWhiteJA :

Press Menu then CH+

JACUSTOMER-xkfuj51n- :

right can get to auto tune but how do you activate

JACUSTOMER-xkfuj51n- :

auto tuning highlighted in menu , but how do you action it ?

KevinWhiteJA :

Press the + button

KevinWhiteJA :

it will start

JACUSTOMER-xkfuj51n- :

vol+ , or Ch+ , ?

KevinWhiteJA :

Ch+

JACUSTOMER-xkfuj51n- :

ok doesn't start, but have seen on screen dtv yes , no , which button actions this as i have tried both + buttons and they do nothing

KevinWhiteJA :

dtv yes

JACUSTOMER-xkfuj51n- :

ok dtv on screen yes box is highlighted but does nothing

KevinWhiteJA :

now press CH+

JACUSTOMER-xkfuj51n- :

Ch + takes it back up menu

JACUSTOMER-xkfuj51n- :

vol+ gets dtv yes / no box on screen yes is highlighted but, cannot figure which button activates this

KevinWhiteJA :

After you press Menu you will have to scroll to select OK so that the Auto tuning can start...sorrry this is what I mean by + button...

JACUSTOMER-xkfuj51n- :

Ok this is what i do : menu , Ch+ , Vol+ to highlight option , Ch- to travel down menu to autotune , Vol+ to get dtv option on screen, then I am stuck cannot get it to accept yes

KevinWhiteJA :

menu , Ch+ , Vol+ to highlight option , Ch- to travel down menu to autotune...then select OK to start autotune

KevinWhiteJA :

Did that work ?

JACUSTOMER-xkfuj51n- :

no unfortunately it does not

KevinWhiteJA :

what comes up when you select OK ?

JACUSTOMER-xkfuj51n- :

have tried all options with buttons, nothing happens , cannot select ok, flaming thing does nothing

KevinWhiteJA :

OK, as I am unable to help you so will opt out and open this again so that someone else can help you...sorry about this

JACUSTOMER-xkfuj51n- :

ok ay least you are honest. Thank you.

KevinWhiteJA :

Thanks for understanding

Hi, To activate Auto tune, when you have done all of above, You need to Press VOL+ , not CH+

Also make sure you have signal coming into tv (i.e freeview, digital, etc switched on and connected), for it to work.
