Hello, my name is Shahid, I'll be happy to assist you.
Please allow me to ask you a few questions to diagnose the problem.

- Is there any sound system connected to TV or you get sound from TV speakers?
- What video devices are connected to TV and do you get no sound regardless of what video source is being played?

Thanks.
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
I do not have a sound system connected.
I have a DVD player but there is no sound when I play one.

Thanks Mary for the reply.

- Please increase volume in TV, do you hear faint hisss sound from TV speakers?
- Have you checked TV Speaker option is On in Sound feature Menu?

Thanks.
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
No noise at all when I increase the volume.
Yes I have already checked the TV option it is on.

OK, can you please unplug TV power cord from wall socket for 10 minutes to reset, replug and check?

Thanks.
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Already done that.
Expert:  Shahid replied 3 years ago.

OK, so all user level steps have already been taken to resolve sound issue, is this correct?
Would you like to get diagnosis and approx repair cost info OR have plan to repair TV personally and have necessary tools and expertise to proceed?

Thanks.

Unfortunately you have not provided any information or advice that I had not already tried so I have unsubscribed.

OK, please send an email to customer service at [email protected] for account matters.

Trouble shooting process may take little time and I have to ask few info-requests to diagnose the problem, I'm ready to assist you for deeper trouble shooting if you have voltmeter and can check few volts inside TV to figure out the problem.

Thanks.
