Resolved Question:

I have a TX-L42E 5B connected to Virgin Media by cable.
I also have BT Wi-Fi at home which I would like to access for purposes of Skype.
I have a Panasonic TY-cc20W camera and Wi lan module N5HBZ0000055 connector.

However if I try to connect to the Wi-Fi it says my Wi-Fi connection is wired.

Does that mean I am unable to use the Wi-Fi feature on my TV unless I disconnect the virgin media cable i.e are the two systems incompatible?

Thanks

Hello my name isXXXXX look forward to assisting and am very sorry to hear that you are having this problem.
You can not use both wired and WiFi at the same time, when using wired the connection will be stronger so it disables WiFi.

It will still work as if you were connected to WiFi it will just be a stronger and faster connection.
If you have the choice keep it connected with the wire.
