my external card has become invisible in my SIII mini. What do I do?

I am sorry to hear that you are having this issue.
This could be a bad sd card, we will need to check a coupple of things to see.
Try this please, remove the battery and then the sd card. Then hold the power button down for 20 seconds. Then reinsert the battery and then the sd card. Then hold the power button for 10 seconds. Then go to settings, then tap on more or scroll to Storage, Tap on Storage then scroll to sd card and let me know the available memory please.

Inserting the MicroSD Card
  1. The MicroSD card slot is located at the bottom right of the battery compartment
  2. Ensure the gold contacts on the MicroSD card are facing down
  3. Slide the MicroSD card into the metal bracket slot as referred to the shape of the slot
  4. Push the MicroSD card into the slot and slide it upwards until it locks into place

Removing the MicroSD Card
  1. Push the MicroSD card in so it clicks out
  2. Slide the rest of the MicroSD card out with your thumb or finger

After I entered my card details the website would not accept my email address - it said it had been used before so I could not go any further with my request.


 


I ended up solving the problem myself.


 


Now today I see I received an email from you last evening.
