My samsung surround sound system has started to switch itself

My samsung surround sound system has started to switch itself off or to shift to offer another option eg to iPod or to Bluetooth!

So when it switches away from TV, is there an input from the TV coming into the surround sound box and are you listining to it ?

Input is from virgin media box, which seems to be ok as currently have it plugged directly to TV.

When fault occurred there was loss of both sound and vision with the message No Signal appearing before then shifting to displaying the various options available eg Aux, IPod, Bluetooth.

This would be normal behaviour for the device to search for alternative signals if it loses signal from the Virgin Media box, I will look to see if that default behaviour can be modified, also you should log a call with Virgin Media ifyou are suffering these temporary loss of signals.
