I think the FIRST thing I would want to do is to perform software updates to your TV set to get all servers updated on the Applications found in Smart Hub.
You should use your computer, go to Samsung's website, create an account there, input your TV's model number into their server's list of products you own, and then either download any new firmware/software updates on your model onto a USB stick and update your TV. That's the safest way to ensure your TV gets a GOOD update.
Sometimes the URLs for the servers change and you run into the problem you are experiencing. There are two areas of updates. The first one is your TV's UPDATES. You find those updates by going into the TV's Menu and set it to update automatically.
. The second one to check and try is going into SMARTHUB and letting it do the automatic updates of the applications. The TV updates can take 20 to 30 minutes, so arrange some time in your day to give it that time to do its downloading.
And make sure if the connection is wireless, that your connection is STRONG, not showing weak or halfway up the signal meter. You get dropouts on your download, or any interuptions, and it can damage the software your TV runs on. I myself prefer to use a LAN cable or have the wireless router in the same room if the signal meter is at half or less.
