Resolved Question:

I am trying to wall mount a samsung 5570 led tv. The stand won't fully remove, ie. there is still a large plastic pice that don't detach from the tv itself (the element that allows the tv to tilt on the stand)

It's a different model that I have, therefore a different plastic piece, this one seemingly isn't remove-able.
The model number is XXXXX
The stand removes, the piece attached to the tv doesn't seem to!
Thanks,
Dave

Okay sorry about that. I had the model number 5570. Unfortunately the piece on that model does not remove. You will need to get the correct wall mount for your model. The ultra slim mounts Will not work with your tv. I have this same model mounted in my son's room. You can get the correct mount at Amaxon.uk
