My Panasonic DMC-SX2 camera was working perfectly until this

Resolved Question:

My Panasonic DMC-SX2 camera was working perfectly until this morning when the screen and pictures became very blurry. The camera was last used a couple of days ago and has not been dropped or the controls changed. Any ideas please?

I am sorry to hear that you are having this issue.
Try this first please> remove the battery and wait a few seconds then reinsert the battery and try the camera again. If the lcd and pics are still blurry try a reset to default settings> Go to the set up menu, then choose Reset to the default settings.

Thank you for your help. I tried removing the battery (and recharging it) and replacing it. Then I reset it under set up. Hovever, it is still blurry.


 


By the way, the camera is a DMC-FX2


 


Is there a way of taking the lens out and cleaning it as that seems to be the trouble?


 


If not, I will need to take it to somewhere to be fixed. Do you know the Panasonic repair place in London?
