I have an AOL password ***** a different password ***** Btinternet which has just asked me for my password. The password ***** have been using is not being accepted for the BT. How do I correct this ?

Have you tried the "FORGOT PASSWORD" option

Can you just clarify that are you trying to set a new password ***** Btinternet?

If this is the case (i.e. you are trying to sign up for BT account) then your password ***** have at least 8 characters(a-z or A-Z or _), with at least 1 number (0-9).

If your AOL password ***** not fulfill such condition then you will need to choose another password ***** satisfies these conditions.

The password ***** have two things -

At least 8 characters(a-z or A-Z or _ )

nathan_mills :

at least 1 number (0-9)
